The adidas Spezial release 2024 marks a significant milestone, as it’s been a decade since its inception in 2014. To commemorate this occasion, Gary Aspden and the three stripes team embark on a journey through Spezial’s rich history, present, and future, encapsulated in their latest collection that reimagines adidas’ design DNA.
Featuring seven distinct silhouettes, the footwear lineup showcases a blend of iconic classics and innovative newcomers. The Gazelle SPZL makes a return in two renditions, while newcomers like the Whitworth SPZL, Handball Pro SPZL, and Moston Super SPZL add fresh perspectives to the Spezial family.
Completing the footwear selection are two revered classics, the Wensley SPZL and adilette SPZL, which receive modern updates in celebration of Spezial’s 10th anniversary.
Transitioning to apparel and accessories, the adidas Spezial Spring/Summer 2024 collection presents a meticulously curated array of garments. Standout pieces include the iconic Todmorden Smock and a commemorative 10th-anniversary Mod Trefoil tee, alongside lightweight jackets, track suits, and various accessories.
This release, serving as the inaugural chapter for the year, is accompanied by a campaign film starring actor and musician Ashley Walters. His sentiments echo the sentiment of the collection, celebrating adidas’ enduring legacy and the Spezial range’s cultural significance.
